Our mission is to provide you with the finest instruction and the best experience in the water.
We offer quality private and small group swim lessons for children and adults, Water Aerobic Classes, American Red Cross Lifeguard Training, American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification (WSI), Lap & Open Famiy Recreational Swim times, Pool Rental Times, American Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training for Individuals, Families, Health Care Providers, Businesses and Organizations either at our location or yours at times that are convenient for you.
About the Swim School
We have made swimming our career and love what we do. We began our school 10 years ago during the summer months at our facility in Haydenville, Ma serving over 300 children each year.
We are very excited about teaching year round at our new location at the Clarke School for Hearing and Speech, where the water is heated for your comfort. Welcome to our family.

About Craig Collins
Craig Collins, Founder of The Valley Swim School has over 20 years experience teaching swimming. Craig has been an instructor in the Exercise and Sport Studies Department at Smith College in Northampton, Ma for the past 16 years and is a certified American Red Cross Instructor and Trainer in all levels of CPR/ AED, First Aid, Lifeguard Training, Swimming and Water Safety (WSI).

We will be closed July 4th and Monday - Friday July 15 - 19 vacation week

The Valley Swim School’s facility is conveniently located within walking distance to downtown Northampton and Smith College at the Clarke School for Hearing and Speech. Additional Parking is available in the rear of the building.
